Someone at the meeting was pretty annoyed that SAS were going down this path and causing massive dilution to existing shareholders. Suggested that they should be approaching Amazon, who is supposedly looking for partners with expertise to assist them. Also, thought that as Amazon don't have any approvals yet, they could have used the existing SAS licensed satellite orbits. Could have sold half the company for maybe 50c per share and accelerated both companies plans. Meir said that they are still open to considering partnerships, but none have come to fruition to date, so they have to go down this path to stay in business.
Meir said 3D's being used for demonstration purposes, test bed for software improvements, training ground station staff and one other thing that I can't recall. No mention of revenue from them.
