SAS aren't a charity, no agency or organisation will cough up $20 million plus to a company who hasn't demonstrated an ability to stand on it's feet. They still care where their money goes. I daresay a UK agency would be looking at true UK business (SAS is not). This is the whole discussion about Australian Government grants all over again. Even if they are looking to fund an international organisation, I don't see SAS at the head of the queue.

They need to demonstrate a world first (for them) and operate a company which is transparent, has something remotely resembling a financial plan, and hit a milestone or two before there is any confidence to invest serious money. Heck, maybe after years of us calling for it perhaps Meir & co could really sink some of their skin in the game to prop them up. But then again why do that when you could draw a wage from a convertible loan?
