in our case, it means that other telcos dont have to re-invent our product, they rebadge it.
they use our technology, pay us a fee, and call it their short haul service etc.
(even accessing the "worlds largest federated telco network" we have established)
which is great, as we leverage their much larger existing client base, eg. telstra.
