These type of wide range-previous day negating daily candlesticks open up blind manual mean reversion swing trades, even finding OMH in baskets of stocks in shorter term StatArb systems (i.e., where a dozen stocks are bought at once in the-often-10am-ditch, and quickly dumped on the uptick).
Problem is rather than fade today's action the 42-40 cent levels look attractive to smack through even if its a technical whipsaw and we surge thereafter. Still there's a trade somewhere for the cautious mean reverter.
