They where mining Maldon a few years ago when a company called Octagonal owned it and was bought out by Centenial. Centenial essentially bought Octagonal for the mill, it just happened to have a mine near by. The mining they did was unsuccessful and lost money. The grade they recovered was half of what they expected. Either the geo cocked up or the mill cocked up. I don't think the geology was well understood. I think there is still of lot of potential in the Maldon leases.
