Adrian was a bit confused with my questions about OMQ, his statement about Gulf manganese weren't correct. I note OFZ moved furnaces.
Faced with high energy costs and an indifferent government OFZ is looking to moving part of its Slovak ferroalloy smelter to Uzbekistan, which is outside the EU. The current smelter has much higher energy prices compared to its EU competitors. Power prices in Uzbekistan are about 80% less than Slovenia.
