Hi dfl................if I read this right - some mor-- sold 1.25 billion (1.250,000,000) of gold futures twice. that is 2.500,000,000 gold futures all up.
And 1,250,000,000 'short sold' Only way out is for the Market Watchdog to 'null and void' the transaction. Which I am sure they have the power to do. If not then that 'Market' is under the control of amateurs - Then maybe -yes it is
Questions:- who sold? Who bought ? Where was the Overall Market Watchdog.... ? An order of this magnitude surely would have had some checking before it hits the market.
I cannot understand such a B L U N D E R ---- but then what would I know ?
If that is correct - one must wonder how bright they are - also how accurate their processes are - any checks and balances. Yeah - Nah !!
