Maybe some Canada dots being connected here as you say. One of the new snippets arising from Rowena's latest presentation was the specific mention of Canada both in the context of being a supplier of REE feedstock but also a potential buyer of NdFeB allow for magnet production.

I have a small stake in VML with a large light REE resource at Nechalacho in NWT of Canada (years from production and not cross promoting) but am not aware of any existing REE oxide producers in Canada - anyone know??

And who might be the Canadian based magnet producer?

Maybe KMP can provide the initial product for any Canadian magnet producers but look for a CMP (Canadian Metals Plant) down the track.

Given the South Korea/Canada connection you describe, KMP might be the source for those critical metals needed for inclusion in the submarines for Canada? I have done no research on this but perhaps submarines and other military applications are the source of recent impetus in the refining of HREE metals (Terbium and Dysprosium) from KMP??
