I am currently in Indonesia involved in 2 copper expansion projects.
1/ Freeport Copper/ Gold/ Lead/ silver and other Smelter in Surabaya Indonesia massive project $Billions of dollars.
2/ I was recently on PT Amman Sumbawa Batu Hijau but due issues with slowness in Project $8.7 Billion USD. Copper expansion & Gold inclusive new 500mWatt Gas fired turbine power plant combined cycle power station & Smelter with new process plant & 6 kilometers overland conveyor from Primary crusher at ROM Pad to stock pile at process plant.
So what you are saying these people got it all wrong these massive copper plays are all wrong that Bongo in the Congo is going to shut all this down. That Chile & Peru number 1 & 2 for exporting copper x 2 anybody else in the world will be outdone by broken down mines in Bongo Congo.
Glencore Bongo Congo mines are relics and will need $billions pumped in to even catch up to the tonnages the Chileans & Peruvians put out in concentrate yearly.
