Interesting to see if the ACCC will have an issue with VIP/Ruffy taking an even larger slice of the plastic bottle market.
Also interesting as to why he would do this now, he's not buying the business outright just increasing his control.
Is it his way of creating flexibility ie could it be a way to back door list the VIP packaging business (market talk was he was looking at listing VIP)
What does this mean for his investment in NCI (12.6%)
Is it his way of blocking other packaging players ability to fund an exit strategy.
Interesting times ahead. I wouldn't put my money into it just yet.
