The chart for the CF results by age group and baseline and control was posted in another presentation a few months ago.
I could be wrong but I think it shows that the 50mg placebo does have an imoact on children and teenagers who have smaller lungs but not adults.
The baseline results are great Children 13.19% Teens 8.41% Adults 4.68%
The problem is the results to placebo should be in line with baseline but they were far from it except for adults. Children 4.16% Teens 1.25% Adults 4.88%
The result for Adults around 4.88% show that it is harder to shift lung function back up when the disease has been with them for years already. The sad thing is taking away the placebo issue Children respond the best at 13.19% from baseline which means the sooner they take bronchitol the better yet they are the ones who have to wait for another trial.
