Good point Nuke, it could be a ploy to keep the WNI backers on board due to the extended timeframe to mop up outstanding shares and production. By the time they get there it may well be too late and they will get caught up in downcycle as BHP indicated today. This must be really worrying them and also to get funds to develop further. They may end up sitting on a mountain of ore that no-one wants. Even for the WNI faithful this may end up being a dud deal and they will loose out heavily. This could be the reason for the mixed messages coming from BRM atm. If I was a WNI shareholder I'd be selling my stake into the market before the whole deal goes belly-up, I could almost call them the suckers.
