As for Hotcopper discussion. I view hotcopper as a level of retail investors. They say that money passes from the uninformed to the informed, from the impatient to the patient and generally retail investors suffer for it.

So a stock with little hotcopper discussion has little in the way of retail investment, the big money hasn't sold it yet. It means retail investors haven't moved in, it gives a pool of fresh $'s to buy the stock, pushing the prices higher.

Once a stock is full of retail/hotcopper discussion it seems to be topping out. LCY, SDL, CCC, AVB, the list goes on.

So we wait.
