I have wondered the same myself, being a person somewhat suspicios of the machinations of people that can hide behind the power of large corporations. they care little for anything other than proving their bottom line.

we have all seen companies propped up by shareholders for
years while developing a project, pushed to liquidity
issues just on the verge of a profitable project, refused by financial institutions, only to have that nice profitable project , sold for a song to the new already wealth owners.

These games happen all the time, just chance?
But I am sure our proud cash rich Australian company like BHP would not dupe all the shareholders of Otto would they.
I wondered if otto had some penalty clause against BHP if they lost sc55 due to BHPs pull out & having little time to secure another farmin. Did BHP give an official reason for their pullout? what was it?
