One of my favourite Warren Buffet quotes is "keep your eye on the game, not on the scoreboard". That is exactly what Peter French is doing. Frankly if its good enough for Warren Buffet then its good enough for me and I will vote for the second tranche, irrespective of the BLT price at the time.
It's not easy running a public company and one can never please all the shareholders and one can always criticize decisions in retrospect. The board does not have that privaledge. I think that Peter French is doing a dam good job and he gets my personal vote of confidence and a vote of thanks.
