Interesting also the whole Jubilee comparison. Jubilee has now been well appraised and given that FAN-1 is a similar Turbedite fan and may be similar in geology the recovery factors and net ad gross oil intercepts are of relevance. Of the 6 wells on Jubilee the 5 other than Mahogany-1 which has the largest intercepts average at 38m net pay. This compares well to Fan-1's net pay of 29+m. Its the + that we are waiting to hear about and of course porosities.
Even if Fan-1 does not turn out to be quite as big as Jubilee, making this comparison has to have attracted a LOT of attention given that Jubille was last decade's largest African off shore discovery!!!
