The SPP is a deliberate intention to MISS the next divs.
Close date to buy SPP is 21st August
Ex-div date is 28th August.
You need to hold/own the shares before the 28th August to receive the Divs
as allocation day is 1st September (meaning you hold/own them from that day onwards) no divs will be issued for those shares in the recent SPP
Hopefully the Buy offers are >$1.75 for you to make a profit after 1st August
