If anyone is uncertain as to what progress Phylogica has been making, I've found it informative to compare the company’s Biotech Showcase presentation this year with its presentations last year and in 2015 (both are available on the PYC website: links provided below).
The presentations have been getting longer (this year’s is 50% longer than last year), but that’s mainly because there’s more detail/data to provide. As already pointed out by others here, this year’s presentation is fairly technical and the major focus has shifted from PYC’s MYC-targeting oncology program to its FPP mediated intracellular delivery capabilities.
For me, Slides 13 and 19 best highlight the significant progress that has been made in FPP mediated intracellular delivery. Slide 13 details the diverse cargoes that have now been delivered with an FPP. Slide 19 details the diverse cell types, in different disease models, into which FPP mediated biologics have now been delivered.
Also new this year is evidence of efficacy of an FPP-OmoMyc fusion delivered intravenously in both breast cancer and lymphoma models (Slides 41 and 44) and in vitro evidence of enhanced delivery of antisense morpholino oligonucleotides using FPPs in a DMD Model.
The company’s progress in validation of its tech is quite impressive, imo.
