I think the change in tone from management comes from a sense of relief and jubilation. They have battled over massive hurdles in the last few years getting the chemistry and engineering to work. Remember that this project is the first of its type in the world in two decades and Joe Lowry reckons that there are only maybe 10 people in the world with the technical skills to deliver such a project. Now all the evidence seems to be that the Orocobre team has finally joined that select group. I too would be cock-a-hoop if I were part of that team.

I recall that they hoped to have by the end of this month Japanese government approval for financial support for the LiOH plant that Orocobre is proposing to build in Japan. Here's an example of why I think that the Japanese will stick to that schedule.
