Fair challenge. Honestly I can see lots of research that graphite anodes seem to have better recharge ability and discharge better. One article here (https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0378775312015686). However, and all IMO only, I cannot see anyone actually having a commercially viable solution ready to sell in the next 2-3 years. So it made me wonder that by that stage EV demand will be so large that the world will have literally no choice but to tool up for currently available, cheap and safe technology. So now we have every major battery manufacturer tooling up to produce Nickel/Cobalt/Manganese or Aluminium batteries. Yes, they may retool again in the future if something cheaper/safer/better comes along. I just can't see how this would happen when they've all just committed billions into making current tech batteries. Of course, I am happy to be convinced otherwise if you have something that talks to that point.
