They made a fatal error by selling Balogo instead of Joint venturing it , now they have a relatively low grade (1.7 grams ) resource in kouri requiring high CAPEX guessing over $US 100M in a country that has high financial risk for investment not a good scenario .
Balogo was high grade close to 5 grams a tonne and over 100k ounces so so fast payback with low CAPEX an ideal scenario for West Africa
SO you are correct the company is going to be having its hand out for funds for a mine that is questionably viable - good luck
