For the same sell price, the real success of all share trading is your buy in price (and whether or not you hold for more than 12 months to attract the 50% CGT reduction on profit).

Lets say you decided to invest $10,000 in PVD and were fortunate enough to pick up 625,000 shares at 1.6 cents last week.
If you'd held off that decision until late yesterday and bought the same $10,000 worth at 2.5 cents, you'd only have 400,000 shares.

So, for every dollar that the SP increases you'll be $225,000 Gross worse off because of a measly 0.9 cents - not even 1 cent.
That's an expensive rat.
