Yes, have no doubt this presentation is for near term funding but not your typical CR i.e. for working capital purposes.
The next step for AGY is, of course, finance for its 'Tier 1 quality' 2000tpa operation (~US$15m CAPEX which is peanuts when you think about the billions currently being invested in the sector).
So, bring this funding on and let's get this baby into staged commercial scale production ASAP, as Tier 1 battery quality LCE is in demand and not in abundance unlike lower quality LCE that has been flooding the market of late. It's all about 'Tier 1' contract pricing, and thus AGY should be able to achieve a nice premium to the spot price.
Finally, I found the so-called threats in the latest SWOT analysis (refer below and Page 19 of the presentation) to be very amusing. Surely Jerko is taking the piss with this analysis.
Threats
'China & Europe - abandon push towards EVs and revert to ICE's' Lol. There is no sign whatsoever that Beijing and the EU would or could ever allow this to happen, especially with the billions of dollars in new EV infrastructure that has already been invested and erected. China alone has already over one million charging stations in use.
'Global car manufacturers stop spending tens of billions of dollars on new EV development' What and revert to an inferior technology (ICEs) that will soon (in any case) be illegal to use in multiple zones within dozens of cities throughout Europe and China.
'Global governments abandon plans to reduce carbon omissions' This is most hilarious. That would be like attempting to stop a moving freight train with your little finger. Humanity needs and wants urgent solutions to combat the effects of climate change.
'Tesla files for bankruptcy.' Over Elon's dead body and certainly not likely after Q3's results - where Tesla reported a record $5.3b in cash and cash equivalents, and posted earnings of ~US $1.2b which blew away all analysts' expectations. https://ir.tesla.com/static-files/47313d21-3cac-4f69-9497-d161bce15da4[/BCOLOR]
And that's without the new Gigafactory in China which is expected to greatly contribute to Tesla's top and bottom lines from 2020.
