vertical integration is a long term strategy, costs a lot to set up in the beginning but it provides greater control of the supply chain and costs in the future which i believe will give it a competitive advantage over other players in the market in he future. it will help them meet the demand in not only aus, nz and china but the other APAC nations which are a goldmine - viet, hong kong, india, indo. need to be patient, the fundamentals are a bit shaky right now but that is the risk you take as it is a developing company
