Yep, plenty of competition and relatively low barriers to entry... certainly shelf space and positioning is important, so tough for new entrants I would imagine. As for online... will Amazon be a category killer? They'll take some of the market with their own ripp-off brads... but they've so far underwhelmed in Aus.
I'm curious if the NS plan to manufacture their own brands etc. (and to licence and manufacture in Aus some of the existing brands they import) is a realistic opportunity. Along with then exporting to Asia. I haven't had any time to look at this (too busy in real life helping people) and to consider if the OBJ skillset will help with this at all, not much I assume.
