I view NPS as an important tool for management of a SAAS business who view one of their key skills as user interface. The absolute number is less important than direction, especially as the business makes changes to the product.....the company wants to know what changes thrill the customer and want changes irritate the customer. I’m honestly surprised they don’t have NPS or something similar. The only possible explanation would be that most users are not aware they are using LiveTile. As far as they are concerned, they are on their employer’s internal website. Even so, I would think that some sort of NPS gathered via their intelligent intranet would be a good tool to have.
