That is a ridiculous comment. Peak fear can only be seen in the rearview mirror. Money is still pouring out of equities and into bond markets, the world has no handle on the virus, 0.5% rate cut in the US achieved nothing and tha Aus treasurer/PM has no clues what to do at all ("there is a supply side issue and a demand side issue so we will focus our attention there" or words to that extent), US futures markets are showing a further 5% drop on open and the drop from $US1700 to 1664 in the gold price today would indicate liquidity selling here as well. What possible scientific, medical or financial data would lead you to the conclusion that peak fear is here so start spending on equities? Smart investors do not try to pick bottoms in times like these.
