A stethoscope does not "give" you a black and white result that can be measured as accurate or inaccurate.
It is a tool, and the result is dependant on the interpretation of the sounds heard of the clinician using it.
As a result, there is a lot of room for human error, relying on expertise (or lack of) of the person interpreting the sounds.
