do we know the Sirtex sales trajectory in say first 3 years post launch? Totally different cancer I know. They had one advantage that they launched into market already with an FDA approval in hand on limited data (but at least it was randomised trial ). With Oncosil device my hunch is there’ll be some enthusiastic docs , early adopters who like a new toy. And larger group who’ll want to see much more data to be convinced , this group might include radio- oncologists who believe there’s a place for RT in this cancer but won’t want something ‘unproven’ (in their eyes) competing with their modern RT eg stereotactic. Seeing some market research segmentation etc would be really interesting. And underlying all this is the question of who will pay.
