Claim: slide 6: “the majority of patients from the analysis of May 2019 are still alive today” (4th May 2020)
Majority. Definition:. Noun; The greater number. More than half.
Fact: Ross P, ASCO poster, released 4th June 2019 ( under events and presentations, investor section, OSL website): Under section in poster headed “Overall Survival” just above survival graph: “21 patient deaths at time of analysis”.
denominator (total implanted) = 42. Twenty one divided by 42 = half. If half were dead then half must have been alive. This is a binary outcome. Half isn’t a majority.
conclusion: by definition the majority were not alive this time last year, so unless company is versed in Voodoo and resurrected some dead patients, it’s not possible for majority to be alive in now in May 2020.
I rest my case your honour. This is price sensitive material released in context of a capital raise where the data are critical to underpinning the product’s appeal, right? Or am I mistaken?
