Around 5000 new FSGS cases in the US each year and average orphan drug price is greater than $7000 per month. Multiply those figures and per month $ is huge, per annum is eye watering.
Can some of our investors with medical knowledge provide insight / opinion as to how many of the 5000 plus cases each year in the US could likely be expected to be prescribed Dimerix’s product if phase 3 is successful.
Also does anyone have knowledge about drug pricing in the US and what a realistic monthly orphan drug price for Dimerix per month would be? Considering the average orphan drug price is greater than $7000 per month would it be about $7000, more or less - thoughts?
