I cant understand it either mate - Ive been topping up during this whole down slide from $2.66 to $2 and could have just waited until now to top up! Luckily my average price is still lower than the current SP

There is no doubt bigger numbers are coming next quarterly released at the end of Oct as this will be the first "full" quarter of the covid-19 testing not to mention the numbers of testing in Australia for July/Aug/Sept 2020 went gangbusters averaging ~60k tests per day nationally so GSS would have a piece of this pie along with the other TGA approved tests. The only thing that can stop a big profit qtr will be how much inventory they decide to hold

From the last quarterly, they had roughly 7m in inventory so their first maiden 2H profit could have been bigger. Roughly 1.75m of this inventory was stock in transit so should already be banked in to appear on the revenue side for the next quarterly with a nice margin on top
