    No, thats a general view on how information is processed by the market in my view with respect to expectations vs outcomes.

    Bad expectations, means when better outcomes are achieved you see this sort of spike. We are just waiting on some reason to link the increase. At this point, its likely the market has gathered forewarning of generally good news, but based on the last update, the increase is unwarranted, which means we are in for a sell off on said news once it lands.

    I hope this makes sense. Its just a trend ive noticed on trading across the market. When expectations are something, and outcomes differ you usually get both postive and negative responses in quick succession as people look to move out and move in accordingly. These people are privy to information us mere mortals are not usually, but thats not guaranteed news, just scuttlebutt.
