So you're completely missing the point on just about everything. I'll try and break it down in to small chunks for you.
The installation is a prototype, a proof of concept.
The financial sum isn't a payback scenario, the energy savings are about making the green Clearview tech cost comparative or cheaper than standard. The site is now showing its 707kw produced which is about half forecast.
The tech is two years old, it can only improve.
Trying to pretend the cost of a prototype is reflective of the cost of mass production reeks of desperation.
The Brazil order for 500m2 was at a cost of $200k USD. That's ~$550AUD/m. An annual 100kwh (30w*10hrs day*365days) per metre of production ($30/year) makes significant inroads in to the costs of the product after ten to twenty years. Even half that is still a great payback.
And the company is still in its infancy with lots of economies of scale yet to be enjoyed and tech advances to be found.
