    I think the titanium is the biggest part of the story.... it was the first thing the Koreans produced. I can't pretend I know anything about the Ti market but my guess is it is not as well supplied compared to the REE market.... there will be a lot of supply agreements in the REE market which will lock out competitors and I suspect even with this new process ASM would face some practical commercial hurdles getting into production.

    Ti, I suspect, is a market which would see greater demand if product appears at better prices... ASM's production cost advantages will get the facilities built and profitable supplying Ti and then a pivot to include the REE will easily follow.... that's how I am imagining things.
