Thank you.
I had some "fun" trying to guess where the photo was taken.
Maybe I should phone to ask a few Qs but most will be revealed in due course. Patience!
The photo shows what appear to be two sumps (white circles) - prepared for drilling. The left hand one is more obvious and does not have the "trampled area" visible near rig 1 surrounding the sump suggesting drilling has not occurred. CVV director does not say, but implies to some extent, that the "measles" in this SE area are, as I have commented previously (24/2), site preparation/sumps for planned RC drilling.
300m RC holes suggests the water issue experienced in RC#21-2 may not always be an issue. Too much water was apparently compromising the sample quality and #2 was suspended pending a diamond tail.
Shorter diamond holes after 21D-1 (600m+-)? D2? will be 400m or so...shorter but still significant. Quite a few 2020 proposed DDHs will be shorter than this.
CVV provided drilling proposals in late 2020 which are being drilled by the current rigs.
(Proposed holes numbered for descriptive purposes only.)
Rig 2 is probably on one of these sites. Rig 1 and the DD rig (~100m east of proposal?) probably on additional sites - well funded now.
Sentinel does allow a heads up on some companies activities here and around the world. Still only interpretation which just changes the type of queries about company activities.
I will follow the progress, but not post too often. For those interested a link to recent Sentinel pass at Bindi (Hope it works) so you can "catch your own fish for the rest of your life". Whether you can prepare and cooke them is another matter! [Sorry...couldn't resist.]
===============
I noticed a new thread - chart.
While I don't have much TA skill there are trends in many things - SP and geology, among many others, that are worth keeping in mind.
Fascinating watching CVV's SP fluctuate over the last 18 months or so. There have been a few comments from me on sudden changes of SP as I add to this quiet HC site from time to time.
Some movements are predictable, in hind sight, Covid Lows, the recent increase with copper price, the recent decrease mirroring a general decline from around mid January of many stocks. However, for CVV there appears to be some rapid changes that are puzzling but as a holder mostly welcome.
4-12c recognition that CVV were undervalued?
9-24 Cu price, drilling and ??
24-14 oversold (or a ???movement to get a lower VWAP for CR). I would have added more at 14 if I could have moved funds quickly - great thought in hindsight but scary when its hard earned coin.
14-20.5 Euphoria on Cu price trumping a 16c CR.
IMO there is little doubt that CVV has the goods in the ground. Getting it out of the ground is the real issue.
In this Cu price environment there is going to be a huge competition for funds with projects with so many factors coming into play as to which gets developed. Projections show many will be developed.
Apart from grade CVV is IMO one that will be. Even grade doesn't look like it will be a problem for Caravel. The "disallowed" 2019 scoping results showed reasonable returns using ?$3 Cu vs predictions and current ($4.5). Current drilling shows the deposit continues at depth below the scoping study pit outlines implying potential resource increases and lifetime of a possible mine beyond ?30 years. So far out that the chart discussions above are blown away.
Waffling now for weekend consumption and making a shout here.
