the deception is disgusting. They present a graph of monthly sales overlay on a cumulative sales graph which gives the impression of growth over the year.
but take the cumulative sales out and you see what they are selling each month.
somewhere between 50000 and $200000 worth of product. They label the last month as record sales. The beat the previous record by a few thousands. The cost of sales for $450000 is about 2/3 of that. Then add in research/directors salary etc and your looking at a loss of 2.5 million. Read this presentation in conjunction with the half yearly.
it is totally misleading and tries to hide the inconsistencies in the business. For instance if they timed this announcement for January the statement would have read, dramatic decrease in monthly sales. MXC had its worth monthly sales in six months.
