Interesting read. Couple of observations; 1 - Port Hedland isn't an option - there is zero port capacity unless you want to sell your ore to MRL or Atlas - they need to speak to PPA to close that loop. That leaves Onslow as the fallback which should be preferred given shorter haulage distance. 2 - timeline is very optimistic for approvals etc to commence - they need to get in the current world - not Flanno Atlas timelines - the world has changed since Rio blew up a cave. Also unless they are going to haul in the back of a ute and not upgrade any roads and tracks for bigger road trains then there is no way they will get up and running in that timeline. It will take that time to just finish the aboriginal surveys. 3 - Yarrie...existing railway....haha... what relevance to the project? Do they think they will find enough ore to use the rail - haha.
