There must an assumption by Hofseth that the retail segment & in particular the US is going to expand in a massive way from current levels & within the next 2 years (breeding cycle of YTK) to increase capacity to 10,000 tonnes.
Pre COVID it was only 5,000-6,000 by 2025.
Why else would they raise funds & ramp up production now?
Sales into the US are currently discounted due to to excess inventory, icefresh is obviously to reduce unit costs on delivery so as not to increase prices too much.
With the past issues you'd have doubts about ramping up sales but with Hofseth running the show now things may be different.
