I just managed to find some time to re-watched the webinar by Leslie Chong again. At the end, she was asked how the company can get more institution to invest in the company as it is now mostly retail. Leslie replies that the science will create value and they will follow suit.
Now, I have another thought. What if the institution already see the value? What if they already wanted in? But alas, these loyal retail shareholders (especially the early birds) are holding onto their shares and just won't let go. I certainly have not let go of a single of my millions of shares. I am sure there are many more who have not sold a single share. What if that eventful Thursday was meant to shake the retail holders off and they failed miserably? And of course, the whole of last week again and they failed miserably.
And they have even employed an influential AFR financial writer to write up a rubbishing post on IMU to help timed the shake. That failed too. And recently, and I don't believe in conspiracy theory much but nor do I believe in coincidence, look at the number of downrampers appearing all at the same time. I mean, most forums do have a few downrampers, but they come and go and only one or two active at a time. But here, there are so many and what's more, there are more and more entering the forum as each day passes. All because the institution want some but the loyal retail holders refuse to let go.
And my take is, as long as loyal retail holders continue to hold, alas, we will get more and more trolls. I suggest everyone to just click ignore and don't even respond to any of their posts. Frustrate them. Make the institutions, or even a big pharma taking a stake, pay up for their shares. Oh yes, a big pharma will eventually take a stake. After all, Leslie Chong has already indicated that the company will eventually be taken over by one of them. Make them convince us to let go of our shares by offering to buy at a more realistic price of $10/share
