My understanding is that KIS brought out their feasibility which coincided with funding announcement of $10mil (really a promise from TAS State Gov to loan $10mil via a grant) Sounds like they also have a higher grade aswell.
That sent the price up a bit, nothing since then though.
From what I have read they still need another $50-$60mil to get going (haven't fact checked that). I imagine labour costs will be high too as who wants to live there? (apparently not many jobs, though the mining firing up would help that)
End of the day the feasibility and funding had a positive impact, these are coming up for EQR and seem to be looking good so far. EQR doesn't seem to need as much $ to get the mine started again and have a lot more of the boxes ticked on the operational side than KIS.
I'm happy to be patient and let the next 6-12 months unfold. We are time lined to be in full production end of next year, will be alot of good news flow before then if that all falls into place.......
