I suspect CN will be thinking about leaving as the job has gotten quite uncomfortable and stressful, and she can earn similar pay and conditions elsewhere I expect. That is what I would be doing if I was her, if my mental image of the pressure she has been under is at all realistic. She has been dealt some bad hands by the oil market. She might carry out her remaining obligations and have the other two members of the board find a replacement. Patrick O'Connor will be well connected in the resources industry in general, and experienced with hiring and firing. Don't know the other director.

Looking at a far bigger comparable to FAR on the ASX I can't help but look at how well KAR has gone on the market recently, at about 30% above book val. I think there might be quite a bit of market buoyancy for offshore oil and gas projects. Based on that, FAR might be worth $2.60 or so per share once things settle down, before the 80c is paid out.
