I'm certainly not a geo, but is the source kitchen still active, i.e. is the field likely to be replenished as it is pumped? Even if it was, I doubt it would be at the same rate, given it supposedly is a millions of years process for oil deposits to form.
And is undersea oil self pressurised for 'pumping', or is that what the gas injection wells are for?
