*Noting first please -that my holding value in CPM is more significant.
I love GBM Resources too - GBZ.asx . Have been buying it for the past 6 mths and hold quite a significant holding for me now. The market just has not been seeing Gbz or it’s been held down or something. And yes, excellent., very reliable and experienced management, for development & exploration. They own land north & in area of Ernest Henry as well- in Jv with Nippon.

Indicative for how lucrative even a small economic resource of copper can be - Gbz are a small & very profitable for size copper producer in NE SA, & this gives them self- funding. (The core projects and will go to mining, are Yandan & the Drummond yes).

I actually went on a big roadtrip to Cloncurry & area in September. Then across to east, though couldn’t go near Pajingo unfortunately , but spent time Charters Towers including history and museums, and Ravenswood where can see over the mine and local museums, and area. Then later drove to Mt Morgan also - mine overview, museums (recommended) , history. Explored and studied what is going on in the areas - the potentials for discovery very great over these regions.

Cloncurry was my main first goal to see around.
History everywhere- Cloncurry also very notably , incredibly humbling!
The minerals collection ( rocks basically - every metal and mineral of value from around the world ) - a very comprehensive collection is held in the museum near the tourist information in Cloncurry. This might be one if not the most comprehensive rocks and samples of every valuable metal and mineral , in Australia. Interesting to see every metal / mineral.
And early explorer history (eg. Burke &Wills)
    Dorothy McKellar buried in Cloncurry.

Go to Cloncurry and you realise the incredible early history and can even seem like Cloncurry and very intelligent and industrious people there, were responsible for instigating & launching so much that is so significant for Australia and linked globally - including the true roots of Qantas, as well as the Royal Flying Doctors service. (John Flynn museum - Cloncurry)
Have to go there to perceive although is well illustrated in history at Qantas museum.

But WW1 stuffed up the early very successful mining.
So many men left and went to war or all had to move to keeping the country going, and again in the Second World War with the depression in between. There doesn’t seem to have been much activity in the Cloncurry region between the wars as occurred elsewhere. Mining was ceasing Ravenswood by 1920s also. Cloncurry greater area -mining had not seriously got off the ground before the wars and then took longer, into second half century and ultimately up to now to have the prominent mining of recent decades but a lot of unfound clear potential for much more copper discovery + base and precious metals.

Up to even 1914- from 1880s , so much mineral discovery was done and significant early mining. But was not continued.
It’s like the world was organised and so much advancement & then WW1 interrupted.

I went to Cloncurry because I held Minotaur significantly - not now, as Minotaur is being taken over.
I moved funds into Coopers notably and IPO minotaur 2.0 not yet occurred but won’t relate to this east of Mt Isa land exploration area.
Not meant as cross - promoting but to convey that was always exciting and the greater Cloncurry area has always been highly prospective for a major minerals resource discovery. Even a tier one discovery . ( this discussed months ago - early days CPM)
Minotaur have explored and specialised in undercover exploration ( they found Prominent Hill - which launched Oz Minerals to the global company it is today ).
OZL been super keen for a copper discovery of size and importance for many years -had had Jvs with Mep for exploration over the greater Mt Isa- Cloncurry region. (Minotaur being taken over now- soon will no longer be trading)
Highland plains - was a tenement acquired by Mep - and divested to now Larvotto (the RoundOak surrounding land tenements ) - Demetallica shareholders will hold shares from this spin- out. But it is not listed yet. The new company will mainly hold the continuing copper and base metal assets which had been held by Mep. (SE of Cloncurry)

Now I own Coopers more and some Carnaby- but have followed exploration in the area since 2015/16 due mainly to Minotaur and have watched other companies- no geologist but intrigued by what should be there.
CPM I jumped in, thankful to @Mallyrock for early awareness. I could not believe the incredible prospectivity and how unexplored CPM land is. Barely anything done through the past 100 years!
    Not a totally uncommon story.

Now there is money available and urgency for these resources .
