So, looking at the swab device, I think I see what they are aiming to do. A lot of companies are using a standard sized cartridge for their RAT tests. The swab device Atomo are going to mass produce is a way of retro-fitting these cassettes to detect a range of infections ( STI etc ). They will then work with test makers to add this functionality...I think.
The Covid 19 assay market is going to see negative growth and companies will be looking to pivot.
In other news, New Zealand has doubled it's infections. Not that I would wish that on our pacific brothers, but they will be requiring antigen tests for some months yet.
Canacord has set a target of .25 cents Only 6 tests approved there.
