.... and some of our dodgy allies do not exploit in the same hideous way? We still have allies causing massive environmental damage including pollution of life dependant water systems. The exploitation of migrant workers by middle eastern countries we help arm is terrible .Mankind always does better when we have dialogue. When we listen and communicate rather than play politics we r able to influence change better . We did that better once after the reversal of the China hardline cultural revolution a few decades ago. Massive changes happened and way more is still needed without doubt. I know my Chinese students loved our country and wanted more progress re these things in their country which they loved. Our media including the ABC does not headline these other stories by allies although they do appear in the small print stories and is more widely discussed in EU democracies.

Lets agree to change the subject now. My heart is with the Ukranians today and brave Russians speaking out . That is depressing me enough.
