400m of closure is enormous! Surprised this little nugget wasn't highlighted in the announcement, but suspect there is some devil in the detail regarding the AVO closure and how far across the 200km2 they believe this 400m represents. From my perspective they are risking the northern area owing to lack of structural conformance, and targeting the south as having higher chance of sealing faults. The improved seismic has no doubt shifted their view on not only the size and spatial density of the resource they had mapped previously (and expect this will be reflected in some moving of volumes when they eventually release this), but this 200 zone with 400m of structural closure will be significant. I expect it will have significantly lower pressure owing to its shallower depth, so the resource will be lower than the same subsurface volume at higher pressure (resources are reported in surface conditions - atmospheric pressure / temp etc). This will no doubt be the carrot that is being dangled in-front of farm-in bidders. All the usual caveats. DYOR etc.
