Just want to add here, we don’t know what’s the t&c’s of current producers, but at $75k LHM, they’re getting only $5k per tonne based on AKE’s ann. They’re not getting $6,500.
they’re giving too much profit to converters
$75,000-4,300-40,000 = $31,000 profit
Or 31k/44,300 = 70% profit given away
LTR has set the gold standard in pricing folks.
Even if our pricing terms give us only $1k/tonne advantage, that translates to $730 million additional annual profit!!!
I believe peers are salivating. They’re getting only $5k when LHM is $75k, insane! They’re giving away too much profit whilst converters had no shame, no risk when spodumene producers were profusely bleeding
LTR holds the ace and they share the reward with offtakers and not converters
