2 years ago when l bought into PIQ, l was absolutely convinced this share would be life changing when it turned into a Disallowed and more. Now with the benefit of hind sight my unfettered enthusiasm has tempered to hopefully optomistic with a 50/50 forward looking perspective. Maybe 60/40 on a good day. Thats 60% probability it will finally bring these tests to market and 40% probability it will fail to commercialise its intelectual property. Generally the interim has been a string of disappointments and fluffy non specific announcements penned by management who obviously think most share holders are satisfied with that kind of meaningless innuendo.
l still hold a sizable parcel of shares and have not sold into the falling market like some of the other supporters of this stock. l have not sold because l am a fool, but have resisted the temptation simply because my own selling would materially make it worse for everyone else and a recovery that much harder. If my judgement is wrong then l will regret that decision. l remain a holder because l think the Pro-marker D test and others in the pipeline will be major health game changers.
With the prospect of another capital raise at a depressed share price and further dilution, l am less than happy with the medium term outlook. The elephant in the room is whether management have the business acumen to be able to successfully commercialize these tests in a way that brings sustained wealth to all. On current performances l don't think they do, but am prepared to sit tight and see what transpires. These commercialization and marketing issues would largely be resolved if a major Pharmaceutucal either bought out or took a significant stake in PIQ. Any number of variations to this could play out well for those prepared to hold tight and riide the gyrations in a hyperactive volatile SP. This is what keeps me from liquidating my holdings. The time line to some kind of market penetration is narrowing, but l only base that on logic. I think the share registry is going to look a lot different in a year or two if we have not morphed into an active vibrant cash positive company. These are just my thoughts and obviously others will have different perspectives.
