Agreed , blaming an increase on labour costs due to increased man power requirements of a higher production rate is a flawed argument
Basic 101 economics Part of the reason in increasing production is to reduce the labour per unit of production through economies of scale ie improved methods of mechanisation at scale . Last year they mentioned methods of using remote sensors to give real time information on the plant and pond performance that to me is also a method of reducing labour requirements.
Having all those mug shots of board members and mining engineers at management level also is a reflection of a lack of individual capability and culpability - why so many , the one glimmer of hope it is fortunate they have experienced Americans advising them .
